Reimers Ranch Park has activities for all to enjoy
Located in Dripping Springs only 15 miles from Sweetwater, the 2,427-acre Reimers Ranch Park is the largest park acquisition in the history of Travis County, with nearly three miles of frontage along the Pedernales River.
Reimers Ranch is well known and loved among many different groups of enthusiasts, including swimmers who enjoy the sandy beach on the Pedernales.
The sizeable Central Texas rock-climbing community views Reimers Ranch as a destination with world-class rock climbing.
The active local mountain biking community enjoys more than 18 miles of trails through the classic Hill Country landscape.
Local anglers have come to Reimers for generations to fish for white bass in the Pedernales. The Pogue Springs Preserve/Hogge Reserve component of the park is lesser known, but equally spectacular with Pedernales River frontage, deep canyons and panoramic views of the Texas Hill Country.
