Love books? Visit the Bookmobile at Sweetwater
The Lake Travis Community Library is less than 5 miles from Sweetwater, but now there’s an even easier way to get your book fix. The Lake Travis Community Library Bookmobile is a regular visitor to Sweetwater, stopping by the Sweetwater Club on the first and third Wednesday mornings of every month, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Residents of all ages can check out books, DVDs, audiobooks and magazines, then return them at the bookmobile’s next visit, or at the library’s main building near Sweetwater. Residents can also request specific books and other materials from the library and have them delivered via the bookmobile. Other services aboard include Wi-Fi, computer workstations and a printer. Don’t have a Lake Travis Library card? No worries – you can get that from the bookmobile too.
If you have any kids in your life, they’ll love Story Time during the Bookmobile’s twice-a-month visits to Sweetwater. A library reading specialist will gather with kids inside the Sweetwater Club to read stories, sing songs and explore crafts. If these times aren’t convenient, the Bookmobile has many other stops in the area, and the main library branch at 1938 Lohmans Crossing is open seven days a week.
