Lake Travis ISD ranks as No. 2 school district in Austin metro for 2017
With an overall grade of A+, the Lake Travis Independent School District ranks as the No. 2 Best School District in the Austin region for 2017, according to a new analysis from Niche.com, a national review website.
Lake Travis ISD also received A+ grades in several key sub-categories, including Academics, Teachers, College Readiness and Health & Safety.
The 2017 Best School Districts ranking is based on rigorous analysis of key statistics and millions of reviews from students and parents using data from the U.S. Department of Education. Ranking factors include state test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores, teacher quality, public school district ratings, and more.
Lake Travis ISD also ranked among the Top 10 Best School Districts statewide in Texas in the new Niche analysis.
