Sweetwater now selling estate homesites with expansive views in The Summit
Spring is a beautiful time to drive up to The Summit, an exclusive estate home enclave atop one of the highest points in Sweetwater, and enjoy expansive Hill Country views.
With an elevation of 1,235 feet – making it one of the highest points anywhere in Travis County – The Summit is limited to only 30 estate homesites on a single cul-de-sac street. The only point of entry is located 300 feet below, at the gate-guarded entrance to Sweetwater’s prestigious Davenport Summit custom home neighborhood.
Home sites are 110 feet wide, and from 150 to 190 feet deep, and some are even larger. In addition to offering panoramic Hill Country views, many home sites are wooded with oak trees.
Homesite prices in the first phase range from the low $200,000s to mid $300,000s. Buyers are welcome to bring in their own plans and builders, as long as they meet Sweetwater’s guidelines for this exclusive section.
With a beautiful Hill Country location only 22 miles from Downtown Austin and 5 miles from the Hill Country Galleria, Sweetwater has an award-winning master plan that devotes half of its 1,400 acres to parks, trails and natural open space.
Residents of The Summit enjoy amenities including The Sweetwater Club, offering a resort-style pool, a sprawling Hill Country style clubhouse, sports fields, an amphitheater and more. A new fitness center will open at The Sweetwater Club in 2017.
Sweetwater also has 10 miles of trails meandering along dramatic canyons, ridges, creeks and waterfalls. The community’s Lifestyle Director creates year ‘round activities for residents of all ages, along with annual events such as the Sweetwater Wildflower Festival.
Sweetwater schools are part of the highly regarded Lake Travis Independent School District, ranked as the No. 2 Best School District in the Austin region for 2017 by Niche.com.
