Explore our trails: Greenbelt Trail
In this blog series, we’ve taken a look at each of the 5 trails that make up Sweetwater’s trail system, which extends for approximately 10 miles.
One of Sweetwater’s first trails is Greenbelt Trail, a .54-mile trail that meanders through two neighborhoods.
With its trailhead located along Pedernales Summit Parkway, Sweetwater’s main thoroughfare, Greenbelt Trail is easily accessible for all residents. It’s also one of Sweetwater’s easiest trails for users of all ages and abilities, with a relatively flat grade and straightforward path.
A neighborhood park with a playground lies roughly in the middle of Greenbelt Trails, making this a popular trail for residents with young children.
Greenbelt Trail is a great example of how Sweetwater’s trails are integrated into the community’s residential neighborhoods, offering scenic views from many homesites, and also open for all residents to enjoy.
